Here comes the sun it's for everyone

12:05pm.
Wow I haven't written in a looong time! I better make this one quick while the little guy is sleepin'.
So as you all know I am a mommy!
Alexander was born on October 21, 2005 at 7:47pm. He weighted 8lbs and 10 oz. and was 22 and 3/4 inches long!
He is soooo cute!
I can't stop looking at him, and giving him little kisses all over his little face!
It was a really harsh experience...but you don't even remember the pain once the little guy is born!
Yesterday we went on our first outing together as a family. It was mine and Lex's first time out since being in the hospital!
We went to Future Shop to show off to all my co-workers and Wal-Mart, and then Overwaitea for a pumpkin.
He was so good, he fell asleep as soon as the car started going, and only cried once he decided he was hungry at Overwaitea.
We also went to Craig and Chelseys and I fed him the whole time while Chris helped Craig with the assembly of a laundry cupboard.
I am super lucky to have such an awsome baby, he sleeps and doesn't fuss barely at all.
It's so strange how I've only known him a week and 2 days, and I would lay down my life for the little guy in a heartbeat.
I am absolutely in love!
It's so hard to believe to think that Chris and I made him...it's really amazing.
I am a changed person!
I am a mother.

Crappy.
Damn cold! It keeps getting worse and worse! Do you know how much it would suck going into labour with a horrendous cold!?! DO YOU! Ya. Didn't think so. Shut-up!
ha ha. I'm a dork.
But seriously...can you imagine pushing a watermelon out of you...screaming from pain..and your throat is on fire...and your nose is plugged...and your head is pounding. My God. Torture.
Lets not think about that.
I have some mild crampage going on right now. It gets me so excited when I get pains...'cause i wonder...is this it!?
But it usually isn't. They go away, or I realize I just have to go to the bathroom...lol. To much info I know...but D'z heard the story. ;)
I still have no $$ from E.I...they sure take a long time to file stuff.
It's been pretty tight these last few weeks...but we'll get by I guess...we always seem to.
My sister is in Van. right now at the Childrens Hospital, so my mom's looking after my two nieces whom are watching "Cheaper by the Dozen" right now. We just finished watching Monster in Law...it was pretty good!
I've wanted to just snuggle in my pj's and mountains of pillows and blankets and watch Love Actually but our DVD player isn't hooked up in the bedoire. :(
LOL I talked to Katie on msn and she told me she knew what would cheer me up, and I was like what a stiff drink!? and she was like noooo.....LOVE ACTUALLY! I was like that's so funny, I was actually going to watch it. haha.
Ok Im kinda scared right now...'cause my stomache is totally stretched out...and I have two massive bumps...it looks to me as tho Fig is laying sideways....you better turn back down into the birth canal you...you...BABY!
Ugh.
Anyway Time is going by so slowly.
I am slowly going crazxy...5-4-3-2-1 SWITCH.

12:24pm.
5 days left!
I actually slept in today!!! I slept until 10am! I must have been tired. Usually I am up anywhere between 5-8. I always seem to wake up right when Chris is shutting the door to the bathroom...ALWAYS...and then I lay in bed waiting, and waiting to use the bathroom, 'cause I gotta go pee so badly!
Last night I went pee soooo many times! Which isn't unusual, except for they were real pees!
Like normal length ones, not tiny little spurts!
Kizmit is lieing on the computer desk in a sheet with the sun spilling on her, and her little paw stretched out...so cute! I took a pic. I should post it for all to see, she looks so relaxed and comfortable!
Anyway just talking to Brianne on MSN, ate three yummy Shortbread Cookies that tasted like Christmas, and finished watching 2 episodes of a Baby Story and Bringing Home Baby. And both of the Baby Story's girls that gave birth made it look like it was nothing!
Ya so Fig's still not here. Yesterday Chris and I went for a walk, and I was in pain! I'm really, really sore lately from the baby moving into my pelvic region. I could hardly make it up the hill to the car. lol. I got some contractions goin' on tho. So that was cool...but nothing happened after that.
We went for dinner at my sisters for Thanksgiving Dinner round 2.
It was delicious. We all tried to play Cranium but that didn't work. Everyone ended up frustrated because we couldn't remember the rules, some players would leave or not understand what they were doing. lol. My family's not very good with the games!
But anyway I better get going. Write more sometime later.

10:35am.
8 days. single digits folks....Never thought I'd see THAT day!
So I can breathe again, which is quite delightful. I remember waking up and going, "Omg did I just take a deep breathe in!?" so at my dr. appointment I asked if she could tell if Fig's dropped at all, and she said he/she has, that his head is right in my pelvis. Where it's supposed to be! Then I noticed that my stomache wasn't as high, so it's true. Things are happening...just not as quickly as I had hoped!
the dr. wouldn't do an examine, because she said that she didn't want to accidentally break my water, because she said most induced labours end in C-Section.
So everythings pretty much ready. My hospital bag is finally packed. Figs room is actually livable and baby like.
The only things I need to get which I can live without for now are a breast pump, baby monitor, and that baby monitor type deal thing that makes a loud beeping sound when the baby stops breathing. Which is a really good peace of mind thing to have, that my sisters swore by!
But it's expensive! :S Actually all three of those things are expensive!
I was also hoping to get a baby swing, that really cute Ocean Wonders one that sways side to side and stuff. But we can't afford that.
Anyway so nothing much has been going on, spent the day with mother yesterday chaperoning her around because she had eye surgery and couldn't drive she looked like she had gotten beaten, so she was wearing sunglasses.
Chris and I had the worst strangest night the other night, we both couldn't sleep, Chris couldn't sleep because he had napped because he has been sick. So finally at 3:30 Chris gets up and gets dressed and goes to work, and I do dishes and draw pics, and finally go to bed and get 3 hours sleep. lol. I totally thought that since we both were deprived of sleep, and our house was a MESS that I'd go into labour! But it didn't happen. Pheuf.
So today I'm gonna get dressed and shower and make myself look pretty because I want to take a preggo pic with Chris.
He's mountain biking right now.
Anyway these are getting so long these days.

ALMOST!

8:42am. Monday October 3rd, 2005.
OCTOBER!!! I never thought I'd see this month! I can't believe it's already here. And I am due in 13 days!
I found out February 15th that I was pregnant. That seems so long ago!
I just don't believe it. Any day now!!!
Yesterday Chris and I went to the hospital at 9am for my 2nd NST. Chris thought it was cool to hear our baby's heart-beat since he had never heard it before.
Fig's heart-beats would go as low as 80 and a high as 181..so I thought for sure this time that something was up, but the nurse said she talked to my dr. and she said everything was fine and that we could go.
I was a little annoyed, 'cause I thought my dr. would be doing the NST and I'd get to talk to her, and see why she had me doing thse tests. But I didn't see her once. Ohwell.
It was neat tho, because while I was laying there, my stomache started cramping up big time, as if I had my "friend", so I asked the nurse, if Contractions felt like menstrual cramps, and she said yes. So I felt my first contraction!! Go Me!
It's crazy tho, because I read that Pineapple can get things going, so I bought a Pineapple and ate some, and I felt funny after, so I think it's working!
I have definetly been crampy all day today, so maybe not to much longer!!
After that we went home and made breakfast. I made Pancakes and Chris made Bacon and Eggs, and then Craig and Chelsey and Katelyn came over in the midst, so Chris made some more and we had breaky with them.
Chris and I pretty much lounged around the house for the most part, we watched Donnie Darko...well I did, Chris fell asleep. I never did get that movie.
Then we went to my sisters to give her her birthday present since it was her b-day on the 1st.
But she wasn't home so we ended up visiting with Stefan, Zoe and Keenan.
THEN we came home, after getting Chicken Nuggets, a Chicken Burger, and a French Vanilla Cofee from Timmy's...
Umm...whatelse...oh...I think yesteday Chris and I drove to Point Holmes just because, we got out intending to walk along the rocky beach, but then we decided against it, because it was totally windy/blowing out, and I couldn't make it down the death trap of a cliffe to the beach. That's just what we would have needed, me falling.
It sure was nice and relaxing tho. The waves crashing around.
We went to Chris' parents for dinner. We had a Thanksgiving Warm-up. His mom made us a Turkey Dinner. It was yummy.
Then we came home, and I watched Extreme Home-Make-Over and Desperate Housewifes.
and then went to bed.
That has been it.
The day before yesterday we drove around Crown Isle and oogled at the nice houses, that look like they should be in Desperate Housewifes.
Anyway that's it.
